MonitorIT’s Syslog Server enables administrators to collect, analyze, report, and archive Syslog messages. Tens of thousands of network devices, Unix and Linux Applications, storage systems, or any other Syslog enabled device can be supported by the Syslog Server. The MonitorIT Syslog server supports full Syslog management capabilities with a view to see incoming Syslog messages in real-time, as well as filter and alert on those incoming messages. Data collected from the environment using hypervisor API Integration, agents, SNMP, Syslog, or Ping, whether they originated as Syslog messages or not, can be forwarded onto other Syslog targets. In support of compliance, corporate SLAs, and management requirements the MonitorIT server can report on captured Syslog data and archive the Syslog messages for future analysis or auditing.
