Get Started with our Cloud and Managed Service Provider Program Today
MonitorIT: An End-To-End Monitoring System
Monitor, analyze, and report on deep performance metrics from virtual servers, virtual desktop infrastructure, physical servers, workstations, storage, databases, applications, and network devices in your datacenter, on customer site, or hosted in the cloud.
Event Log and Syslog Management for Compliance
MonitorIT’s Log Management solution makes log data useful for daily security reporting, daily operations analysis, and compliance auditing. Event Log, Syslog, application logs, and machine data can be collected, viewed, filtered, archived, reported, and alerted on from MonitorIT’s single dashboard.
Auto-Discover Remote Assets and Auto-Deploy
Auto-discover the virtual servers, physical servers, virtual desktop infrastructure, workstations, and network devices at a remote location for lightning fast onboarding of your customers. Once discovered, auto deploy an agent for deeper application and OS monitoring. No additional hardware, complicated network setup, or proxies required.
MonitorIT elegantly operates in a service provider environment so that individual or comprehensive views of all customers can be monitored. Customizable group, security and watch list settings allow multiple administrators to effectively manage the IT assets and applications in disparate client environments from one screen.
Intelligent Agent: The Foundation of Remote Monitoring
Stringent SLAs require the deep application and operating system visibility you can only get from an agent. Our low-overhead, light weight agent is 1MB in size, has a .1% CPU utilization, and takes less than 16MB of memory. With it, you can also initiate automatic fix actions on the alerting remote server to remediate quickly.
Customized Alerting – With No Alert Storms
You may only have minutes to respond to a critical issue that could impact a customer site, affecting your SLAs. A console full of useless alerts is a recipe for disaster. With MonitorIT you can set your own alerting thresholds, specify alert schedules, alert frequency, max alert limit, or suppress monitoring during certain time periods.
MonitorIT enables service providers to automatically specify a response to an alert. Quickly respond to common tasks such as service restarts by executing a script/batch file or enabling any executable program to run. This automation allows you to remediate performance issues before end users are impacted.
Custom Branded Reports
MonitorIT gives service providers the ability to tailor certain information to their business and customer environments. Build custom reports with your own branding, and/or leverage MonitorIT for customer usage and billing reports.
Testimonials from Cloud and Managed Service Providers
“As a service provider we have SLA’s with our customers that require us to manage and monitor the performance of their infrastructure, applications and databases with great efficiency. To deliver on our commitments we have to rely on tools to support our processes. We used a legacy product from a Global IT software management company for a number of years and it proved to be less than adequate for our needs in terms of both product functionality and related support, the issues surrounding this technology became critical enough in our commercial business that we decided to move away from this product several months prior to the end of our contract. We used Goliath’s product in a small virtual server environment but decided to expand their footprint and replace the legacy product for the entire IT infrastructure because of the ease of use, functionality that covers both physical and virtual environments as well as the newly enhanced remote site management capability. Finally, we have found their support to be competent and responsive which is critical to our success.– PTI – Angie Gleim, Vice President of Business Operations
We used N-able for several years but as our business grew and our market evolved so did our needs for high-technology tools that support our clients’ ever changing, complex infrastructures. We needed a product that offered the ability to monitor, analyze and report on the performance of XenServer, XenApp and XenDesktop at remote customer sites. We evaluated SolarWinds, NimSoft, GFI, Kaseya, Remote Assist, PacketTrap, EgInnovations and attempted to work with N-able. Our extensive search lead us to Goliath Technologies. Their product manages the required virtual server, application, and desktop elements but the way it is architected to accomplish these elements separated them from other offerings. Their Intelligent Agent, for instance, will save hours of setup time because of automated deployment. It also provides extensive data collection and reporting, remediation, and log management, all essential to meeting our SLA’s.– CPU, Inc. – Frank Jones, President
MonitorIT keeps watch on dozens of our client’s servers 24 hours a day, a tremendous value for both us and the client. We cannot imagine being responsible for so many servers without MonitorIT’s constant watchful eye.– Pure Logic – Joe Licciardi, President, Owner
As an MSP, Remote Monitoring is key component not only to be able to charge as a monthly recurring service, but as additional benefit for a potential client that is considering to get on our Maintenance and Support Plans. In addition, we host a variety of other services which requires equipment to be “watched” so we also are our own client in this respect. Deploying agents on customer equipment is very simple and the remote agent has a very small footprint. Although they provide pre-configured watches for Blackberry and Exchange, there are special watches that I have created for specific types of equipment and they make it very easy to do in about 6 clicks. Unlike other products which force you to use SNMP, a remote agent gives us the ability to use it as a proxy to “watch” other internal equipment without having to configure SNMP or fuss with their firewall. We currently have our MonitorIT server screen on a 32″ LCD where our snake pit (where all our techs sit) can easily see the screen.– b2b Cloud Solutions – Frank Fernandez, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, at
